Resume
For some 25 years I have been developing database applications. Before that
spent 15 years engineering and management in the automotive industry.
Language skills include: C#, VB.Net, .Net Framework, Visual Basic (VBA),
DAO/ADO/ADO.Net, ASPX, Javascript, HTML.
Applications: MS Visual Studio.Net, MS Access, MS Sql Server
A self starter, conscientious, I am a sound,
persistent, disciplined programmer, exacting high standards in code structure,
performance, efficiency, data integrity, user considerations. Often
complimented on ability to assess client's business of which I very often have
little prior experience. Would consider some travel.
Education Graduated Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (BE)
from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. US resident since 1980. I do have
a green card.
I am always looking for something new, interesting, residual income:

-
Database projects - MS Visual Studio.Net/ MS Access/ Visual Basic/ SQL Server.
New projects or revisions.

Current client (2005-2006). Developing an eCommerce website. Provided
client with a sophisticated Access database for entering product data. Access
database programmatically converted into HTML pages for the web (C#. Asp.net).
For web searching capability, Access database also converted
to Sql Server. A unique approach in that whereas the database changes
infrequently, the application is not needlessly searching the database all the
time and hard coded HTML pages are available for seach engine indexing. ASP.Net,
javascript, C#. Current status (using very fictitious
data) may be seen at
